About Me

For the Love of Golf....

   My passion for the game of golf developed when I was 8, first participating in US Kids Tournaments and in Operation 36 Program at MacGregor Downs CC. I am also a vocalist and have been performing since I was 6 in choir, solo performances and in musical theater.  What I found was that my two passions worked well together.  The timing and tempo I learned in music training helps me steady my pace and focus when golfing.  I dedicate time daily to practice and strive to achieve short and long term goals, that serve as targets I can continually strive to achieve.

   In 2023 and 2024, I was honored to be named to the NC High School OT (HSOT) ALL STATE GIRLS GOLF TEAM.  I was also named to the CGA - TYGA ALL STATE GIRLS GOLF TEAM 2023 and 2024. As one of the leaders of the 2023 PKBGT Regional Tournament Season, I was invited to the 7th Annual PKBGT Linville Cup Leadership Retreat, representing NC East.  Our weekend of training and match play with other regions was led by Captains Emilia Migliaccio and Leslie Cloots. I was so proud that our NC East Team ultimately won the prized Linville Cup!

   At Cardinal Gibbons High School, I played for 4 years on the Varsity Women's Golf Team.  In 2023 and 2024, I was awarded NCHSAA CAP 6 Conference "Player of the Year."  At 4A East Regionals in 2023, I scored 75 and was awarded a Runner Up Medal for individual performance and led my Team to receive the Runner Up Trophy for Gibbons overall results!  At 4A States in 2023, I achieved my goal of placing in the top 10% of the field, placing T8 and scoring 74-76. At 4A States in 2024, I was 4th place medalist, scoring 72-74. In 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons, I was honored with the MVP Award by my High School Coach Mindy Glatfelter and Brent Burns.  All 4 years, I was selected to represent the school in the NCHSAA 4A State Women's Golf Championship.  In 2021, our school was undefeated in the CAP 6 Conference and placed 2nd overall at the State Championship, with my score applied to the Runner Up tally!  In 2022, 2023 and 2024 I had the lowest scoring average in the CAP 6 Conference and at the 2022 - 2024 State Championships, my score was the top one of the team.

    I play in the PKBGT Tour, US Kids World Teen and in many Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) events. My target for competitive rounds is a minimum of 2 monthly.  Depending on the available tournaments and time of year, I could play as many as 4 monthly.  I am so proud to have won a CGA State Jr Championship in 2023 at Catawba Creek Golf Club, shooting a 72 and 73.  The week before I won a TYGA SAS Jr Championship with a score of even (72) [and in 2024 scored even (70)].  On Sep 26, 2023, I scored -2 (70) at CGA's HV3 Foundation High School Championship at Gaston CC, finishing 2nd.  All have boosted my confidence and dedication to improving my game and mental strategy.

    Last summer, I worked as a Lifeguard part time and attended a 1-week Nike Jr Golf Camp at Duke University. My academic performance has been strong and I continue to challenge myself with more Honor's classes in my schedule each year.  My GPA, now 4.2, earned my admittance to the National Honor Society.  For electives, I have took Musical Theatre, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Marketing and Business Entrepreneurship courses. I also volunteer to support LPGA Girls Golf clinics and US Kids local tournaments.
